Die Malerei war für mich lange Zeit nur ein entspannender Ausgleich für meine anspruchsvolle Arbeit als Schauspielerin. Mit meinen Bildern konnte ich meinen Gefühlen Ausdruck verleihen und mich ausprobieren, ohne den Ansprüchen anderer Menschen gerecht werden zu müssen oder bewertet zu werden.

Als ich, bedingt durch die Corona-Pandemie, für einige Monate in Kurzarbeit gehen musste, konnte ich mich intensiver mit dem Malen beschäftigen und versuchte mich an neuen Themen, Farbkombinationen und Techniken. Ich stellte sehr schnell fest, dass die bildende Kunst für mich sehr viel mehr bedeutet als nur ein Zeitvertreib, und machte mich als Malerin selbstständig.

Kunst ist anspruchslos, universal, subjektiv und lebendig - dies möchte ich mit meinen Bildern vermitteln. Meine abstrakten Werke sollen Emotionen wecken, den Geist anregen und pure Lebenslust ausstrahlen. Dabei ist es gewollt und willkommen, dass meine Motive nicht jeden Menschen gleich ansprechen und in jedem eine andere Saite zum Klingen bringen.

Kunst ist so unterschiedlich wie die Geschmäcker die sie deuten, so einzigartig wie ein Fingerabdruck und so individuell wie deine Wohnzimmereinrichtung, zu der meine Bilder gehören dürfen. Genau das macht Kunst so reich und wertvoll.

For a long time, painting has not been more to me than a relaxing hobby and an escape from my challenging life as an actress. My paintings enabled me to express my feelings and to try myself out without being judged.

When I had to reduce my working hours due to the CoVid19 crisis, I found more time to experiment with motives, colour combinations and painting techniques. It became clear to me very soon that painting has become a lot more important to me and that I wanted to spend more time doing what I love. This is why I decided to become self-employed by selling my paintings.

 

Art embodies so much more than paint on a canvas: It is unpretentious, universal, empowering, and full of life. This is exactly what I would like to convey with my paintings. My abstract works are meant to give rise to emotions, activate the brain with all sorts of associations and radiate lust for life. It is my full intention to create abstract paintings that cause different feelings and associations, depending on the idividual who is looking at them.

Art is as diverse as the tastes of the observer, as unique as a fingerprint, and as individual as the living room furnishings that my paintings are part of. This is exactly what makes art so rich an precious.
